Inspired by the coast and view of Pendeen lighthouse on the north coast of Cornwall, at sunset with high seas rolling in on the jagged cliffs. The light from the lighthouse shines to warn sailors to stay away from the danger, yet the building itself draws the eye and is somehow symbolic of hope. It's light, however, is surpassed totally by the light of the setting sun, syboilic of the mystical and divine Source of all light and hope.
 
The extra fine canvas is wrapped around professional art stretcher bars 20mm wide and stapled on the back. This is then painted a neutral grey, giving a clean finish. The work has the artist’s monogram on the front right corner, is signed and dated on the back and is strung, ready to hang, or you can frame it to your choice.
